Responsibilities

Position: Remote, Full-Time Sales Support

Role and Responsibilities:

The Sales Support Engineers at Shaw Ventures will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our firm and customers, and will be responsible for understanding our product offering, leveraging that knowledge to assist our sales team in pre and post sales support with current and prospective clients. A successful candidate should have working knowledge of technology support, preferably AI, Cyber Security, big data, etc. If you have prior customer facing support roles with any leading tech brand, we want to talk to you!

Key Responsibilities:

● Work closely with the product and sales team to communicate customer needs and gather insights to enhance our product offerings.
● Develop a deep understanding of our products, investment focus areas, and industry trends to address customer queries effectively.
● Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their technical needs and offering solutions.
● Assist in creating and updating technical sales documentation.
● Consistently meet and exceed agreed upon key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Proven experience in support, business development, or a similar role.
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and connect with a diverse range of individuals.
● Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
● Ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
● Proficient in using CRMs, support tools, etc .
● High level of organization, attention to detail, and strong multitasking and time management skills.
● Results-oriented mindset with a tenacious attitude towards achieving goals.
● Entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine passion for innovation and startups.
● Knowledge of the venture capital and startup ecosystem is a plus.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
● Prior support at leading tech companies a plus
