Ultimately, the company we have been working with is likely to be sold to new owners. This could be a strategic buyer, a financial sponsor, or the public markets.

We are not investment bankers, and won't actually run the sale process for you, but we will work with you to do the hard work to prepare the company for sale.

This process usually starts about 12 months prior to when you want to close a sale transaction. We will work with you to identify and vet the right investment bank to hire, and most vitally, work with management and the bankers to prepare the company for the sale process.

This means getting everything ready for close inspection. The numbers, the data-room, the team and the product all must be prepared and presented in the right way to maximize value on exit.

The work we've done through Phase III goes a long way toward increasing the liklihood that a deal can get done, and that it gets done at a price that makes everyone very happy with the outcome.
